If Civilians on Tamil side are killed or injured there will be always an excuse as to say in a war civilian casualties are expected. Unfortunately when it happens only on Tamil side

Berty, We will never get mad with you. I found your comment to be hilarious. There is no way the Military will tag along bunch of foreign reporters when they have a dangerous mission on hand.
And the other point is the Military and the GOSL do not want reports that are biased to be used as propaganda that will
have a backlash from the families and the masses when the casualty figures keep rising. They did that in the Vietnam war and there were tons of Anti-War riots in the USA during Nixon & JBJ time. Mahinda and Sarath don't need any distraction at this point. |
