If Prabha is captured alive he should be given a fast track hearing. But I doubt he will be caught alive as the orders may be to kill him on sight along with his thugs...:-)
I see a JVP/RW type liquidation with the least fanfare... if he gets caught he will make a video speech asking all to lay down arms and will vanish from the face of the earth... courtesy of the SLDF. I doubt if we will make a diplomatic fiasco with India over it. Why should we give him to India when he is our hard won prize.
The task of putting an end to him should fall on to our hands, not Indians. they started it, we finish it!
I would love to see a BHP with a red ribbon wrapped around it be given to SF on a silver platter and he using it to execute the greatest criminal in the history of Sri Lanka! |

Well, Tigers have a well planed strategy, in my view. Of course the Shingala state has much bigger population than Tamil Eelam and VP has to protect his numbers for the long haul. So, he did the right thing by spreading out his forces to the terrain that he is best suited to fight.
Tigers have the durability. SLA can be in TE only for a short period of time, where as for Tigers, it is the homeland. Thats whey TE Tamils know the victory will be their's eventually!
Geeeeeee....with ppl like you guys to support it, ''Peeeeelam' is never gonna be anything more than a dream!!...

Andy:
You guys are just jumping up and down for no real reason...
So you think, the Killi series of WMDs will be used for agriculture?
Indeed all of them are intact. VP, according to Tamil sources, had specifically requested his fighters not to use such venomous weapons because that could damage centuries old Tamil religious places and Tamil property.
But, from now on he has lured the SLA into the jungle, Tigers are free to use any thing in their arsenal, including the WMDs!
The war is not over... there is no winner yet! |

Ayyooo... ODDUSUDDAN
TF 4 troops enter Oddusuddan township - Mullaittivu
Troops of Task Force 4 who have continued their advances further northwards after capturing Nadunkeni have entered Oddusuddan township by this afternoon, 4 January.
According to the latest information, troops of 14 Sinha Regiment (SR) commanded by Major U.S.N.K Perera under command to 642 Brigade commanded by Lt. Colonel B.T Hathnagoda entered the Oddusuddan town following the days long fighting ensued in the area.
The strategically vital Oddusuddan junction located along the Mankulam - Mullaittivu (A34) main road had been used by the LTTE terrorists for their administrative and logistic purposes as it has direct route access to Mullaittivu, Puthukkudiyiruppu, Mankulam and Nedunkeni.
Troops own engaged in further consolidating operations in north and west of Oddusudan areas, defence sources said. |
