That is why Tamilnadu play the Tribal card and get everything they want at the expense of other states

Anu Dumbo,

Read this first as to where TN Stands in India !

Tamil Nadu's gross state domestic product for 2007 is estimated at 275,000 crores (70 billion USD) in current prices. The state experienced a GDP growth rate of 12.1% for this period. Possessing the third largest economy (2007-2008) among states in India, Tamil Nadu is also the most industrialised state in India. The per capita income for the period 2007 - 2008 for the state was Rs.43,000 ranking second among the South Indian states. It ranks third in foreign direct investment approvals (cumulative 1991-2002) of Rs.225,826 million ($5,000 million), next only to Maharashtra (Rs.366,024 million ($8,100 million)) and Delhi (Rs.303,038 million ($6,700 million)) and the State's FDI investment constitutes 9.12% of the total FDI in the country. Tamil Nadu was the winner of fDimagazine's Asian Region of the Future award 2005/06 in terms of FDIs, surpassing Australia's New South Wales. Unlike many other states, the economic resources are quite spread out, rather than concentrated in a small industrialised area. The overall unemployment is relatively low with 2.8% rural and 4.8% urban from CSI.

Then why do you think tamils are fighting for last 30 yrs ?

Chennai bro,

I agree that there were issues for minorites in Sri Lanka. All the third world countries are facing similar situ.If you take one issue, the language problem...see how muslims have over come this obstucle...they learn tha language (though the monther tounge is tamil)..So the tamils should have taken few smarter action rather rely only on the arm struggle.

I think india has done more harm by forming / feeding LTTE and letting them down at this juncture. They should have interviene and settle this issue when the power of balance were there.

As you see all over the world there is no propoer place for justice to all...with USSR gone, the balance in world power has chnaged to one hand (USA)..It is applicable for all conflicts..

So better to live with whatever freedom you have and let others alos live peacefully..

What do you say?

India has a Sikh PM since there is genuine Devolution & sharing of rights..

According to what this fused tamil channai guy says, one country should have millions of presidents and priministers at a short time span. then only all nationals, religions and language speaking people can at least be the president once. Just to show the geniuiness on devolution and power sharing.

Dude, if a tamil cannot win the trust of the sinhalese, it is not a problem with the sinhalese people, it is your tamils problems.
Sikhs been able to win the trust of all the Indians and he was elected as the PM.

let one of your tamils too do the same in SL, then he will be a PM

AnuD,

For every Hindian, they are more important than the country. That is why Hindia is a mess. Hindians are happy if they can live like the British Colonials. That is their Brahman.
