Buddhism.
9. The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the FOREMOST place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the State to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana, while assuring to all religions the rights granted by Articles 10 and 14(1)(e).

What is the language we should speak and what religions we should profess in order to be so called Sri Lankans? Are we all Sri Lankans equals? If yes, why do we have the Sinhala Buddhist constitution? Why the Buddhism is the state religion.
Why do we need a Sinhala Buddhist constitution for a multi racial, multi lingual, multi religious, multi cultural country? Is Sinhala Buddhist nationalism masquerading with Sri Lankan pep talk to fool the minorities? :))
