Piranha,

He is collecting more and more enemies both in the North and the South that sooner rather than later he is going to get a sticky end.

This is what someone from Killinochchi said early last year and I shared with this forum. He said that MR would finish off VP and that MR himself would be finished off soon after.

Noone talks how many tamils were saved by sinhalese..those who was saved might know this..how many were killed? 300? 3000? ok so what was the tamil population in that time ? without no guns or ltte to defend tamil ppl so it should be a ethnic cleansing as few retard LNPrs like Thivya/Kural/tigy says..so how come only 300 or 3000 died..?? if its done by whole sinhalese nation it would be 300,000 tamils dead..its funny how these brain washed asylum seekers manipulate the history to make'em live in luxury ..

Pawan

we do not need violence in politics whether it is in the majority or the minority, like the JVP before

Without the warning of retaliation - thugs on the other side would attack. Until there is enough money return through business enterprises - we need that kind of defence force which A does not have access to.

Pawan,

you advocated freedom in this not so long ago, why the adjective 'third'

For the same reason I say 'first' or 'current'. It's a statement of fact - no credits or debits. It could be either way. I just have not undertaken the analysis

Looks as if to you it's a debit.

I have relatives in Killinochchci who married more than once. May be the specialty of that area. I was arguing with a fellow family member to not leave out the second ones - but to bring out what our relative felt and also what was accepted by majority in family. This is one of the reasons why I have 'feelings' about Killinochchi.

My maternal grandmother married twice. My father was registered to be married to someone else before my mother. Worse than all this we have in our family a lady who was forced to marry her sister's widower. That lady went through the marriage ceremony but starved herself to death and pleaded not to ever do that to anyone else i.e. - not to force anyone into a relationship.

Only a small group of people were involved with the riots, while many Sri Lankans helped protect the tamils, while others were too scared of the rioters to even step out of their houses. JR, unfortunately, allowed the riots to continue, which was not a 'majority' decision, but rather a decision he made for his own political agenda. The same can be said about Premadasa, who used the ethnic conflict for his own political agenda. Electing these selfish people are the mistakes that the sri Lankans have made.

Yarlan,

Sri Lanka needs leaders whose heads are not stuck in the past.

nor floating in the future or distant present.

Kiwilankan,

To the extent that i am even commenting on Gaja's posts. I was briefly mad at the LNPers as they left me alone with Gaja in the same room..eerie!

It would have been worse if you had had AB to hold your hand in that room. He would have gone to the toilet then and there.

Electing these selfish people are the mistakes that the sri Lankans have made.

But the situation is that a majority of our people tend to vote for the party, and not for the person. Ranil is a prime example of this. The guy's a loser (by every sense of the word), but yet he will get some votes because people vote UNP straight from birth. But i feel that at least now, people (from both major parties) are learning from their mistakes and are voting for the person rather than the party, which is great for MR, because as long as Ranil is around, MR will definitely have the power.
