Anandasangaree may have less credit than even Douglas Devananda, but he is the last remaining non violence form Tamil politician in the country. sambaed and the rest of the TNA are tiger proxies, davananda has a militant army and so is karuna and pilliyan, DR. Neelan Thiruchelvam is dead and so is kumar ponnambalam.
very true ..rest of the tamil politicians who had historic background,,who ever opposed or not supported the LTTE were History..I guess these militant turned politicians will represent the tamil ppl..infact ..its a hard luck choice for tamil ppl in north and east..LTTE created them and now ltte is going down..they fill the vacuum .. |

DR. Neelan Thiruchelvam is dead and so is kumar ponnambalam. you failed to seem my point of view. I said a voice from the non violence form. we do not need violence in politics whether it is in the majority or the minority, like the JVP before.
Have patience. It won't be long before new leaders emerge from both the Tamil and Sinhala communities. The old guard has proven to be incapable of uniting the people and most importantly, to take the country forward. Sri Lanka needs leaders whose heads are not stuck in the past. |

I am trying hard to regain lost ground. To the extent that i am even commenting on Gaja's posts. I was briefly mad at the LNPers as they left me alone with Gaja in the same room..eerie! |

He DID NOTHING for the Sri Lankan Tamils, including his original constituency, during and after his term as an MP ended a long time ago.
This is not right. Anyone who is part of the Hon Appapillai Amirthalingam's work - did do valuable work for Tamils. Anandasangaree is like elders who have not kept up with times. We must take the good in them and make up through our good the negatives that we see in them. Running them down outside merit basis divides the community.

| Its gonna be same as in south.. ordinary ppl becomes politicians and become thugs in south ../thugs become politicians too. North same..south most of the politicians are thugs ..they run their own clan ..goons.and kill if they needed..north its gonna be the same..What we need is a Flush out the thugs out of political system and establish law n order..in the future.. |
