Any progress or news on who killed LW?...Will tghe Sunday Leader continue or will it stop publishing since LW was the strength behind some of their brave reporting.

When you do not have a higher resource avialable that becomes a diffusing force that maintains peace through separation


Side 'S' becomes physically violent - let's say - as happened in Colombo during '83 - where side 'T'

The government delays protection for side 'T'

Side 'T' turns violent and takes revenge.

To the extent that is in Defence only - to neturalize the superior status of side 'S' - this is right as per Natural Justice. It's an eye for an eye

Where on the other hand side 'S' takes affirmative action and gives priority protection to T and this is visible - it is a lateral political solution

Where side 'T' uses intellectual ability to capture positions outside the control of 'S' and therefore controls the external assistance that flows through to 'S' - side 'T' would have achieved an intellectual solution.

This is the last few lines of a article on myspace.
I spoke to a staffer who was waiting at the hospital during his surgery, and she said a group of her colleagues had decided to go back to the office before they knew whether their mentor and friend would survive. 'We have to get the newspaper out,' she said. I can't think of a more fitting tribute.

I was thinking the same from a GOSL perspective. I thought that she may be on the gosl payroll to terminate tamil people from lnp!!

I read your comment and thought that maybe the Tamils do not like him very much, as they think he is influenced by some outside force, and not by his love towards Tamil people or democratic norms


He is not connected through faith to the current Tamils in Sri Lanka. He also lacks belief that he can lead Tamils out of this mess.
