It's been one day, let it be over and let the analyst then try and make teh head and tails and consequence of this both internally and politcially. This is still a vast amount of land. Also the land was empty says they were preparing for it. Think about it, if you know you will lose the city there is no point defending it and losing men. Best to retreat to a small area of land and let the opposition stretch out. So it's not all too surpirising they retreated is it?

Tigers missed the opportunities that they were given.Hence after elimination of Tigers I don't see the needs for any political packages when there are enough Tamils Politicians in the front line who could do the job within a united government and a country.(Of course without TNA thugs).Priority is to bring the country out of her economic doldrums which could benefit citizens...:-) |
