Democracy means where you are not connected by common faith - you use objective evidence as a priority. Hence you need to have the opportunity to produce at least 50% of the final outcome. Then the outcomes is our true reality. Hence Equal Opportunity. If you had actually practiced the core values of democracy - you would not need to check externally. You would have confirmed internally.

again- I sense the depth & subtlety of this- but unfortunately the meaning is elusive!

Gaja,

the Sri Lankan Tamils will have to find leaders with a certain level of qualification to survive in a difficult climate.

At this moment even a questionable Karuna Amman comes across much more appropriate than VP who had demolished the fairly strong position of back in 2005 when he had disallowed the SL Tamils from voting for a much more moderate Ranil who had lost the election by only 180k votes.

VP seems to be much to destructive and the results of his leadership look more than sad.

	UpulJ So you have that old canvass bag still hanging somewhere in the house eh ?? good on you mate. Nothing like that for stress relief and relaxation :) I had one in my basement for therapeutic values until recently.. One of my friends going through a divorce borrowed it :))
