again best wishes and a positive new year.
Just said, that most Sri Lankan Tamils i have talked to would prefer peace and a full stop of militant LTTE activities.
Sri Lanka has fairly free elections and Tamil citizens are members of Parliament and even in influential positions.
Why not build on that instead of fighting for VP and some vision that might never work out at all and which has produced endless misery since ages without any gain.

In other words - Sri Lankans have moved backwards - away from democracy. A true democracy would have 50% opposition.

never sed any of their family membrs to fight in Sri Lanka.
When you are in the army or when you are able to send your loved ones to the army - you have the moral authority. Not otherwise. In democracy - we fight through our respective specialties - producing outcomes at the end of our process. We are all equal and different parts of One community. |

Why don't you change the Sinhala Buddhist constitution to accommodate the minorities first. :))
