Thivya releases her tension:
Sinhalese are celebrating the victory over war against Tamils. We are beaten but not defeated. If the Sinhalese think, they can live with peace and prosperity by destroying Tamils, they are in for big surprises. The Sinhalese are celebrating in Colombo while their armed forces kill the Tamil civilians in Vanni. Our people are crying, and the Sinhalese are partying. The Tamil- Sinhala divide is much deeper than anyone could imagine.
The Sinhalese know very well, the Tamils don't consider the Sri Lankan flag as their flag and despise that piece of garbage. That's why Sinhalese are deliberately raising that piece of garbage with an ugly lion on the middle all over Tamil Eelam. All Tamils around the world must unite to avenge the Sinhala killers.

Yarlan,
I believe I know where all this is going to end up. I believe you also know what the ultimate price the Tamil society is going to pay if the war continues.
There is no definitive end to this. This would go on until it becomes a process of democracy with equal opposition. This military win is just one step in structuring that process. Some excesses of the LTTE would be eliminated through this and the good contributions would surface. Preserving that good contribution without damaging others' genuine work is the challenge we all face.
In some ways Tamils outside Sri Lanka have a greater challenge - of merging the two systems in their minds. I observed during these most difficult times for the people in Killinochchi - including our close relatives, most Tamils known to me celebrating Christmas and New Year holidays. That indicated to me that they do not feel strongly about either this latest battle or about the suffering of victims of war.
love

Yarlan wants the Tamils to stop fighting and he says if we don't, the Sinhalese will kill us all. This is the same thing Ettappan told king Panadara vanniyan about the British. He said to him, the British are so powerful, they have cannons, no point in defending Tamil Vanni Chieftain. Let them rule and pay them Kappam. Panadaravanniyan scold at him and called him as a traitor and said his mother should be shamed of him. We Tamils still call Ettappan as a traitor to Tamil race.
If any of our forefathers had thought like Yarlan, they wouldn't have fought any battle against the invaders to defend our homeland. The Sinhalese are killing our people and they say the Tamils are dying because Prabhakaran took arms against us. If you guys don't stop supporting him, we will kill you all. Yarlan is singing backup songs for Sinhalese and he is repeating the same thing what Sinhalese says but acting like a loving kinsman. People like him we Tamils should be worried but not the Sinhalese.

Sorry to say, but there is surely a significant amount of Sri Lankan Tamils who would prefer to see all militant LTTE activists lay down their guns and to join the democratic struggle for a better nation for all the people.
Perhaps you may call all those traitors whom i had talked to over the past years. But be assured, that not all Sri Lankan Tamils appreciate VP and his definition of freedom and liberty. |

LNP shows some great examples of the 5 Stages of Peelamist Grief today:
1. Denial (this isn't happening to me!): No way they captured Kili - Pretty much everyone
2. Anger (why is this happening to me?): Singhala Racists - Thivya
3. Bargaining (I promise I'll be a better person if...): I will send my unborn son - Thivya
4. Depression (I don't care anymore): I am quitting LNP - Thalaya
5. Acceptance (I'm ready for whatever comes): Should give up now, take whatever is offered - Chennai |

If not for Prabhakaran, MR would not have been president. And this is how he repays him. Ungrateful Chingala Muniya. I haven't heard anyone talk about the 'VP-MR Agreement' in a while.

If not for Prabhakaran, many Hundreds of Thousands of Tamils would not be enjoying western freedom (by claiming asylum) |
