Yarlans,
Not all Tamils want to be like people like you. You don't mind living as a second class citizen in your own country. People like you want to please your Sinhala masters but majority of Tamils think of that as an insult. The Sinhala racists are using people like you to bring the Tamils under their control. People like you are helping them to fulfill their age old dream of subjugating the Tamils.
The Sinhalese are celebrating the victory over Tamils now. They are bragging about the bravery of Sinhala soldiers. If the Sinhala Veera Soorayas are so valiant, they would have defeated the LTTE 30 years ago. The Tamils were beaten in Kilinocchi because of the traitors among us. The LTTE must kill the traitors before attacking the Sinhala soldiers.

AndyLau,
heard, that India is worse. Also here in Thailand some Indians dump their litter all over apart from bugging tourists in a most pathetic manner.
Nevertheless, SL tourism could benefit a lot from some qualified authorities looking after the nations most valuable resources. |

Piyal,
Of course the armed forces are not for managing people, that's where the administrators like you come to the role,...
The government needs to seek and find not only good administrators but those who can preserve the values of genuine believers.

In your list of nobel objectives, the resettlement of Tamils to their original villages should be no. 1.
Ethnic cleansing is the worst crime to commit against a population. Since 1956 Tamils have been evicted from Gal Oya, Kantalai, etc. to the war in Manal Aru and Jaffna HSZ and still continuing.
No resettlement = No peace, resistance will continue in whatever form.
That is the reality

Gaja Acca,
Yarlan,
But, even his top leutenants must be asking this question: how long can this go on before our people completely break down?
They won't breakdown. So long as they believe - they would restructure - like any good institution.
I didn't mean the fighters within the LTTE. I meant the people. Human beings are not like robots. Many had already broken down. I believe I know where all this is going to end up. I believe you also know what the ultimate price the Tamil society is going to pay if the war continues. Edited By - yarlan - 2 Jan 2009 20:15:26 GMT |

Tiger Chief still dreaming
LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran went on record saying he would never allow Kilinocchi to fall come what may. In an e-mail interview with the Chennai-based Tamil magazine Nakkeeran, Prabhakaran, while admitting that the army had entered key LTTE-held areas, declared that capturing their administrative capital Kilinochchi was still a distant dream for the government.
'The Sri Lankan forces have entered parts of our homeland and are stationed in close proximity to Kilinochchi town. But, capturing Kilinochchi is just a day-dream of (Sri Lankan President) Mahinda Rajapaksa,' he said.
