Ananda,
I don't know about Colombo, but in Kandy even firecracker lighting is controlled. They are not allowing large crowds to gather in one place. Kandy town seems to have quietened now. But then there is the weekend and EP will be announced tomorrow or so. As Andy said MR or someone high up should make a statement to the population.
So how many anandians on LNP mate? LOL |

in 30 years we have seen just death and destruction as we have been unable to deal with these terrorists due to the lack of political will or because of bleeding heart idiots like you . in the mean time we have lost many friends and family . so forgive us when we rejoice in ones step of the decimation of the forces that caused us all this death and destruction
You cannot sit idly by and let people kill your family and the country you love which seem to be what idiots like you are proposing . Yes we have had substantial losses and inflicted the same or more on the other forces . Let us hope this will be a lesson to us for our new independence day for which many have laid their lives . to never let our guard down and to never let this happen again .

Yes true, you will never let your guards down, which means you will always live in fear! That is what you achieved with this war not knowing when the LTTE will re-build and fire back.
Some of us Tamils are established all over the world with excellent prosperity and we manage to live amongst Sinhalese and even live peacefully in matrimony (I am marrying a Sinhalese). You may destroy the LTTE and kill numerous Tamil civilians but can never touch our spirits or dignity! |

Adhil, that is good and I suppose we need similar control in all places and ensure we do not loose the focus.
We have few number of Anandians in LNP, some left, but still there are few. |
