In sinhala this is described as 'Peraluna pita hondai keema'
In English it sounds like 'It is better to have this side than the other side of the boat, when it tops up' |

President says Killinochchi is captured PDF Print E-mail

Addressing the nation President Mahinda Rajapakse stated a short while ago that Killinochchi has been captured by the Security Forces.
Speaking to the nation the President said the honour of the victory should go to the heroic Security Forces who have sacrificed a lot and are still engaged in fighting in the North and elsewhere in the country.
The President asked tiger terrorists to lay down their arms at least after this defeat. |
