Kilinochchi railway station comes under Army control
Sri Lanka Army 57 Division troops now in the process of liberating Kilinochchi town have taken control over the Kilinochchi railway station short while ago (Jan 2).
According to the battlefields reports troops of 571 Brigade lead by Lieutenant Colonel Harendra Ranasinghe have beaten off the terrorists from the area in an intense battle.

Good news for new year ! Peelam is falling apart. Another great Tamil kingdom is coming down.
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) political capital is about to fall to advancing forces of the Sri Lankan Army. Several Special Infantry (SI) formations of SLA s 57-1 brigade have already moved into the town and secured several parts of it including the railway station. Majority of LTTE resistance in the area has either been crushed by the army or has been forced to retreat. Official announcement of the fall of tiger stronghold is expected anytime
now.
Meanwhile even the LTTE s primary weapon, the black tigers (aka suicide bombers), were not able to stop the army onslaught in this instance. LTTE s Female black tiger command (9-3 base) located in Karadiyapokku (located on the northern boundaries of Kilinochchi town) was overrun by 58 division units several hours ago. accept my sincere condolences for your loss in Killi.
Moda Muniyaas are jumping up and down like no tomorrow!
Despite claiming to have 'captured' all of Westen coastal areas of Tamil Eelam and now Kili itself, modayaas forgot to mention how many 'TAMILS' are under their control!
Tamil Eelam cannot be won by capturing an abandoned cemetary, abandoned toilet, nor an abandoned train station.
Tamil Eelam can be defeated only by wining the over the Tamils of Tamil Eelam origin. VP' farsight has made it impossible for GOSL to win over the large percentage of TE Tamils...
Besides, a day or two of jumping up and down by Mooda Muniya will have no impact on a methodically planned 100 year war strategy!

LNP's days are counted when this ops in Wanni ends. I do read LNP often but seldom commenting. Less & lesser peelamist except some die hards. |
