The first one is Dr. Mendis Rohanadheera who said King Devanampiya Theesan was ruling Sri Lanka during the Mogul rules in India. :))) LOL

This is by LNP - Tamil hisotirian Thivya. According to her GAJABA is a tamil king and his tamil name was GAJABAM or GAJABAN.

Thivya,

I looked at the pictures from defense.lk site. If Paranthan looks like this, I hate to think how Kilinochi looks looks. That area has been subject to air and artillery attacks for months now. The question I ask is this - why did the LTTE embark on this 'Final War' if they could not defend their people from all this destruction? Who is going to rebuild these places?

Yarlan,

Send your questions to Vanni or give me your telephone number and address, I will try to give that to Visvanathan Rudrakumaran of New York, the LTTE's legal advisor and ask him to pass it onto the LTTE. Most likely Nadesan will reply you. :))) LOL

I read briefly what Gaja wrote today. Interesting...

My real name was was a gift from Jeyaram Jeyalalitha. I too accepted my 'Tamil Eelam/ Indian identity.'

Seriously speaking, the Sri Lankan Tamils are in deep trouble, both emotionally and psychologically. Many in the Diaspora are now strong followers of Sai Baba. When Yogaswami's disciple from Hawaii was visiting the US, I saw many Tamils kneel in front of him and treated him as if he was the God himself.

This is juts one of the manifestations of society that is fast losing its 'bearings.'

Yarlan,

there's not a single major construction done by LTTP for the benefit of the Tamil people in their control, all what they still use is the GOSL properties.. The losers still depending on the CEB electricity bombing the power plants with their tin cans.. world's most ruthless terrorist outfit at their last legs..

Anud,
Don t show your legendary Sinhala stupidity again. Read the article again please. I didn't say that. The leading Sinhala historian Dr. Mendis Rohanadheera said that and I just quoted him. :)))

Tamils are changing place names in the North the way they want. this should cause a problem to surveyors and Printing MAPs.

How come GOSL allow Tamils to change names the way they want.

Look at this and see what they are doing, from thamizsnut

Place Name of the Day: Thursday, 01 January 2009

Oottu-vaayan-ku'lam means the tank of the sluice or the tank from which a spring of water flows. (Oottu: spring Vaay: mouth)

Uyirththa+raasan+ku'lam

The tank of Our Lord of the Resurrection

Uyirththal Coming back to life Raasan: King Uyirththa-raasan: Our Lord of the Resurrection (a reference to Jesus Christ)

Ku'lam Tank, lake, reservoir

Uyirththaraasan Ku'lam was known before as Oottuvaayan Ku'lam.
