Democracy...VP stoped people vote.
Who needs democracy when you have the self-proclaimed sun god to tell everyone where they should die and who they should kill! 30 years of the 'rule of gun', and look where Wanni is now... starving under trees, with squared kilometres of cemetery! But yet, the diaspora keeps funding and worshiping their sun god! |

You mean you learnt from that partner. You would have been taught by your law school - right? The former is faith based and the latter is external. We call the former educare and the latter education.
In the university. Law should be applied and be seen to be applied.

In the university. Law should be applied and be seemed to be applied.
Most judgments of the Court even in Australia have an element of use of discretionary power. Those who are not close to Natural Justice - of the invisible court of our conscience - are likely to rule unjustly and you would never know the difference if you believe that what was seen to be applied was the law. |

Pawan, (I got it right this time :))
I talked to my circle of Indians and Pakistanis and sri lankans, they are all proud of what Bangla did. common brotherhood.
Yeah, it was one hell of a fight by the Bangas... great to see, but it would have been embarrassing to SL if we were on the losing side, so i'm glad that they lost. Anyway, let's hope they can repeat the feat some other time and win (preferably not against SL!) :)

yes it would have been embarassing to SL. But it is nice. we won our first test against the India. You remember, how Romesh Rathnayaka bowled with Kapil Dev fighting to save it under the remaining lights of the sun. Romesh had his that head band. |

Yarlan ..
sorry . I fell asleep . too tired I guess . I found what thivia wrote amusing ..
We Tamils are not stupid to spend money on development while the Sinhala war on Tamils going on
Ha Ha .. It has been a good portion of 30 years and this fool finds it ok that the tamils (her relatives or most possibly not) have not had any development activity . She find it just fine for her to be living in the lap of luxury while the unfortunates who are left in Sri Lanka do here bidding for no gain for their own . Thivia must indeed be one of those high caste tamils who treats others like dirt and finds it to be just Great .

Pawan,
I was too young to watch/follow it live, but i've read all about it... and how cool was Rumesh's head wear! Classic look, which Malinga tried to replicate also! :) |
