Great india
So what went wrong? Why are we so dirty now? One is tempted to say that it is because of our bloated population and unending poverty or some might say it is becuase we were enslaved (ha ha)!!. Yes they are some of reasons but I think we have a bigger cultural problem as the cause. In a self induced illusion of greatness of Indian civilization, we never see apparent things. We are so taken in by our self belief in our own greatness that we don t introspect and don t think that there could be anything wrong with

Looks like UN guys wont take this kind of Punnaku....

Now it is time for GOSL to say that tigers are behind this ..

The United Nations office in Colombo said that the lorry in which the explosives were recovered from yesterday in Vavuniya did not belong to them. 'I emphasize, it was a Government Agent vehicle,' UN spokesman Gordon Weiss said.

The UN also released a statement. It said 'The UN in Sri Lanka deplores the placing of explosives by an unknown party on a Government Agent truck that was due to join a UN food convoy to the Wanni.

The UN reiterates that humanitarian operations and personnel must be protected at all times, in accordance with International
Humanitarian Law, and acknowledges the actions by Government to meet this responsibility.

The UN remains committed to support humanitarian operations that will reach Sri Lankan citizens in the Wanni with vital aid. Because of the effective cooperation of all involved, the convoy is now scheduled to depart in the next days accompanied by UN international staff.

a senior official of the WFP (Word Food Program) based in Sri Lanka is suspected to be part of the plot to smuggle in explosives and batteries to LTTE held territory. More than 28000 batteries and 2.5KG C-4 explosives were found by K9 units yesterday hidden inside a WFP lorry bound to Wanni. One suspect was arrested and the other escaped evading capture
