But, the reality is SLA have not really captures any significant LTTE assets. All TAFs, WMDs, heavy weapons, key leaders are all intact. SO, VP does not seem to be in a state of panic!

Just an eye wash? This is from Daily noise. Any confirmation from UN or ICRC?


Yes...UN confirmed that one of their lorries tried to carry c4 explosives and batteries to IDP people.....:-)

Colombo, 01 October, (Asiantribune.com): Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam has made use of the humanitarian relief mission convoy to smuggle explosives. According to Vavuniya Police sources, the Police have detected 2.5 Kg of C4 explosives in a motor lorry in the food convoy headed for the Wanni at Vavuniya last evening.

Subsequently, when Sri Lanka army checked another lorry, they found out an inbuilt secret iron safe box and army opened the safe box with support of welder cutters and found in the box 28,500 pen-touch batteries, which are used by LTTE for joney mines.

The drivers of both lorries were taken in for questioning. Vavuniya Police are investigating.

In reality, it will end p.d.q.(that is pretty damn quick) and the end is not what you envisage!! Poor PL: the moment you say something sensible you shoot yourself in the foot!

Dis you say that it will take 100 yrs for SLDF to reach Vanni a year ago?

That was a mistake he made by under the influence of Peelam......:-)
