Buddhism born in India, not in Sry Lanka!
KURAL,
Don't speak nonsense. Go and read history. Being jealous alone is not warrant you to twist an established science.
There was no India when Buddha wandered that part of the world. He spent most of his time preaching Dhamma in Maghada and few other kingdoms which now lie between India and Bengladesh. In fact, there was not even Sri Lanka when Buddha preached his Dhamma, but the country which later became Sinhale and then, Sri Lanka.
No other nationality in the world pledged preserving Buddhism as their national agenda, but Sinhalese and thanks to their effort, Buddhism to date remained in tact on the surface of this planet. As a result, Sinhalese deserve the exclusive right to wear any credit for preserving Buddhism, and Sri Lanka being the country of Sinhalese deserve the same.
If you want to challenge this, please do not hesitate.
Good luck!!
