hey at least you guys gave one hell of a fight... must admire that... but I am sure the 70,000 + dead people don't think so...
what a waste of money and lives... imagine if all that money was used to develop instead of destroy... if all those lives were used for development instead of killed? |

I am against the separation oft his country. I dont care if this country is run by Buddhists or Christians or Marilyn Manson for all I care... just want it in one piece under one flag.

Somali pirates, besieged by foreign warships, demand 20 mln dlrs
MOGADISHU (AFP) Somali pirates who hijacked a Ukrainian freighter carrying military weapons defiantly demanded 20 million dollars in ransom despite being surrounded by three foreign warships on Sunday.
The spokesman for the pirates, contacted by AFP via satellite telephone, confirmed that they were surrounded by three foreign war vessels off Somalia's central coast and said the ship's crew was 'safe and not harmed.'
'What we are awaiting eagerly is the 20 million dollars (13.7 million euros), nothing less, nothing more,' Sugule Ali said. On Saturday, figures ranging between five and 35 million dollars had been put forward.
Ali confirmed that the ship was under siege, but he said the pirates would not give themselves up.
'It is true we are surrounded by three foreign military vessels and there are some others we can see (in the) distance,' he said.

That's not for me to decide... old Fox JRJ knew the mentality of the Tamils and the Sinhalese and locked us in a perpetual 2/3 majority trap. What we can do is work with the elected government and formulate a workable plan that is fair by all... including Marilyn Manson. No matter what we still have a working democracy... just because you people decided to sidestep that is not our problem. Get back in to the democratic mainstream and work from within the system. Leave aside the past. We can't change that.
There will be concessions both sides have to make, sacrifices we all have to make... but no where should it say that we have to divide it along ethnic lines. That's the mother of all conflict...demarcations.
