There are many churches, Kerala probably has the highest concentration of churches in India.

Hi Velir
The food there is the best, for breakfast had appam and veg stew. I know Malayalis have pittu for breakfast, but they did not serve in most restaurants.
I did go to the Napier museum in Trivandrum, had some fab Chola statues but cant take photographs there.
