There are a lot of Tamils in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada......
But no nation is stupid to give Tamils seperate land.
Let alone in Tamil NAdu they dont give Tamils to buy their own back-yard land, if you are a Sri lankan Tamil ?
Why should Sinhal Buddhists be burdened with uncivilized group of people ? |

That just characterize the Tamil nature world wide. Of course there were a few exceptions, but then they all got killed b'cos they didn't 'fit in' with the supreme Tamil culture... |

Isn't that a good enough reason all we tamils in SL to settle down in TN then? rather than fighting pity war in SL for a small stretch of land?
I have my own home to live with.
My cousin has his own home to live with. When he is being tortured to leave the land by thugs, does he have to leave wat all he has & come back to me ?
This decision has to be taken by my cousin especially when he is very fond of His land & even willing to kill the thugs who harass him.
At best i can wish him Best & all the Support he needs from me !
It is his decision after all ! |

I thought you are a smart guy. Does it mean you also think like the uneducated Sinhala racists who think the federalism means separation? Majority of European countries, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and many other countries have some form of federalism. Do you think that these countries are not one unit anymore?
The greedy Sinhalese want to control the Tamils in their homeland, that s why the Sinhala racists are determined to keep the unitary form of governance. That will enable them to control the Tamils with their majority numbers but we are not going to let you have it your way.
The minimum acceptable solution to the Tamils is, two linguistic states in the United States of Sri Lanka. Anything short of that will continue the misery to the Sinhalese and Tamils.
