Mr. Pirapaharan paid his last respects with garlanding the photographs of the Black Tigers and by lighting the flame of sacrifice at an undisclosed location in Vanni, LTTE officials told media.

Five of the ten Black Tiger commandos on Vavuniyaa mission were females.

What an uncivilized animal this guy is... has a last supper with them, poses for a photograph, sends them to their certain death, and then lights a candle in front of their photographs, while he never comes out of his bunker!!

Only stupid peelamist would see the 'glory' in this and not the hypocrisy.

while he never comes out of his bunker!!

Look at the photo, man! Does it look like a bunker. Those Black Tigers did not die in vain. In one night, they shifted to war front from Nachchikudah to Vavunia.

Now all GOSL establishment is warrying about how to protect Vavunia, while VP boys are rampaging against the invaders in Vanni jungles!

no pawan .. thivya the history reconstructor is busy giving a lecture to the scientists running the CERN Large Hadron Collider that when they recreate the 'so-called' beginning of the universe the building blocks of atoms are actually thala thel .. hence proving that Tamils existed at the beginning of the universe.

WTF is this ?

UNP chief ministerial candidate at the recently concluded North Central Provincial Council elections Major General (rtd) Janaka Perera yesterday said he had been instructed to present himself at the CID for questioning over an alleged conspiracy to assassinate President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

He told The Island that the CID had intimated to him that they wished to question him on this alleged assassination plot but had not given him a date and time to be present. He said that he would soon visit the CID and present himself for questioning.

Perera said that in the background of his popularity in the NCP where he polled the highest number of preferential votes, the government feared his popularity would increase further and he would be a threat to it.

What irks the authorities is that their popularity is waning while I am becoming more and more popular among the people after the NCP elections. My supporters behaved so well during the election period that I came in for a lot of admiration from the public and no wonder I scored the highest preferential votes,' he said
