I guess fonseka wants to finish the major part of the battle before the rain.. means to capture nachikuda and eventually clean the pooneryn and secure the coastal lines..

My feeling is that SLA will slow down a bit now and will focus on harvesting 10 per days. That is what happening over the last few days. LTTE is furiously defending the Nachchikuda because they now that once Nachchikuda falls to SLA, then next target is Pooneryn. Once the SLA is in the visinaty of Pooneryn, LTTES logistics between india will be lost and this will directly effect Kili. So now they are putting their so called elite force to defend the nachchikuda FDL. Therefore, I think this is a good time for the SLA to harvest LTTE elite force.

WANNI: FIGHTER JETS, conducting another air sortie this morning (8) at about 8.45 a.m., hit the LTTE defence line in NACHCHIKUDA, to the west of A-9 road.

Tiger terrorists with the intention of thwarting advance of the troops have built a long protective wall for their defence parallel to the NACHCHIKUDA sea border extending towards POONERYN area. Pilots confirmed the target was accurately taken.

In ancient SriLankans were Patriotics! Immaterial what nationalty they were. MAY BE SINHALESE, TAMILS & MUSLIMS ALL WOULD HAVE BEEN TOGETHER AS A WHOLE SRILANKANS.But today its different! indevidualism! racism! You can never make a country up for development in this Philosophy.WE should remove this egoism and develop our country as srilankans. Here in middle east they never ask from us whether you are a sinhalese or tamil. What they ask is are you a srilankan? so taking in to consideration. we can be unite from heart and mind, not by only lips. we can just think of development just after the Government free the country from terrarism and hand over to us very soon as they confirming it nowadays. So lets wait and see. if its true lets start join in hand and do our part.
