Good article, but how can a country be expected to prosper if terrorists run one-third of it?
This is funny, some Sinhalese are trying to hide the Sinhala terror state's attrocities against the Tamil minority with this so called 'Terrorist' problem.
Who created the so-called LTTE terrorists and who made the passive and peace-loving Tamils to take the arms against the Sinhala terror state after 35 years of non violent protests. The Tamils of Eelam are fighting against the Sinhala terrorists. Every Tamil has the duty to help the LTTE to chase the Sinhala terrorists out of our homeland.
Prabhakran was asked how he felt to be the most wanted man in Sri Lanka today? Prabhakaran replied in his own inimical style as follows:
An Irish leader once remarked that when the British indict a person as a terrorist it implied that he was a true Irish patriot. Similarly when the Sri Lanka government refers to me as the most wanted man it means that I am a
true Tamil patriot. Hence I feel proud to be indicted as a wanted man.
Asked about his assessment of J.R.Jayawardena he replied stating 'if he was a true Buddhist I would not be carrying a gun!'

What would the Germany do, if one ethnic group in Germany starts a war against the German Government and kill scores of people and blow up everything they can put hands on, and send suicide bombers to their door-step?
Would they follow the same preaching that they do to us now? |

The idea is good. But I think the organizers were not credible or did not do a good job. Many activist diaspora did not participate. I assume that a 'super diaspora' who can unify the rest has to emerge first. |

Look! Things like this will not happen overnight. It has taken 60 years for what is happening in SL now. Germans are not stupid. They built a ruined country to one of the top countries in 60 some years.
They probably would have handled this in a different way. They even managed to put two countries together into one, quite opposite to what SL situation is.
Given that, though, this Ambassador talk may be not representative of all of Germany! |
