Sri Lankan woman employed as a housemaid in Kuwait and who was allegedly raped by a group of Bangladeshi men resulting in her getting pregnant, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday.

She was among 40 Sri Lankan women who were reportedly ill treated while serving as housemaids in several West Asian countries and returned to the country yesterday.

She said her first employer had tried to seduce her, and so she had run away to a foreign employment agency office. There she had been sent to another house, where she wasn t paid for her work. She went back to the agency once again, and was sent to another house

Six of the men would rape me at random intervals. Finally the police arrived and rescued me. Now I am two months pregnant, she said.

It is very sad to see that 60 to 70 percent of housemaid girls in Gulf region are from Colombo and needless to say that one way or other being used for sexual thirsty of gulf men. It would be wise for GOSL atleast now spent the money for their welfare and stop spending/wasting billions on never ending war.

If GOSL is not willing to attend this matter on priority basis, it is responsibility of colombo men to put pressure to their Government to liberate colombo girls from the cluth of Gulf men.

Will they do that?

What king of leader is Mahinda?

He is allowing to continue his own country girls to flew to Gulf region for maid jobs and forcing them to sexual harassment by the Gulf men.

Can't you see the real sitution of this Island deeply isolated from foreign investments and exportations.
