What made the SLA so powerful ?
And Rajapkse willing to challenge any nation that harbors LTTE.
JR, Premadasa, DB, Chandi, Ranil nobody had this Rajapakse's vison and strength.
Rajapalse has the right approach to every situation. Just getting India to our side alone is enough.
You can win numerous battles, and loose the war. Ennemy's over confidence is exactly what LTTE want. One day they will surprise them, i even can't imagine it as its so bloody. I see lot of innocent youths lying dead on the ground.
Poor Mahawamsa, hope you live happily in USA, hope your home is secure, hope your whole family is alive. Think at least one second to the families who send their children to the front to feed themselves. Lot of them , never came back alive. Lot of them, will never come back alive.
More important thing, there is an universal judge or observer who will bring justice. |

This is one more way of MR controlling the Media & Dishing out Punnakku to all singlecelled modayans that they are winning the war !
A very reputed and respected journalist D.B.S. Jeyaraj, popular among English readers who was contributing a column to the Nation news paper has informed the new management of the Rivira Media Corporation that he is calling it quits with them on ethical issues.

The SLAF MI-24 helicopter gunships launched extensive air assaults at a pre-identified sea tiger camp located at Kavitharamunai, in Pooneryn, West of Kilinochchi, Sunday (Sep 7) at around 4.14 a.m.
It seems that SLA is planning to do amphibious landing at Poonaryan instead of trying to break defense lines at Nachchikuda. or divert the attention and go hard at Nachcikuda. Let's see. |

This TAF action in Trincomalee was just the Morale Booster tigers were waiting for !
Even DBS acknowledged that there were heavy SLN casulaties in the attack . Yet he was not allowed to post that in Nation Paper & he resigned in Disgsut !
There is an obvious shift in mode in the Wanni battlegrounds. The August 26 air raid over Trincomalee appears to be the opening scene in a new act in the bloody drama. Despite its limited strategic impact, the air raid, according to local as well as Indian commentators, appear to be partly a battlefield version of a Red Bull/Vodka mix - a morale booster for the cadres as well as those funding the Tigers.
The Tigers, who have been falling back when serious challenges were thrown at them in the Wanni battlefront during the past year, are now putting up stiffer resistance especially after the air raid.
The change in gear was even publicly acknowledged

LTT crashed explosive laden trucks to SLA Camps.
So, LTT can do the same thing with Explosive laden TAF and probably LTT has about 4 -5 of those.
This is why SLAF need at least simulator training to confront TAF.
I agree with what FreeLancer says.
But, there will be other advantages if we canreach thunukai-via mankulam - mulativ road. |
