Strategy is to capture Poonaryn first, then attack Kilinochchi with the help of 54 and 55th divisions from North. LTTE clearly knows what SLA is up to and that is the reason they put such a huge resistance at Nachchikuda. But before October monsoon, SLA will reach Poonaryn and then they have enough time of two months for consolidation their positions before launching against Kilinochchi. |

The lightly guarded Nachchikudah could not be penetrated. Now you are talking even bigger task. The TF1, 59 all demoralized and lost fighting spirit. This will be a 'Jauasikuru' type bogged down first and a U-turn next? |

In the mean time while continue fighting in NAchchikuda and beyond SLA should concentrate on going forward upto Thunukai-mankulam - multativu road.
I think that will help a lot.

the strategy here is not the land but the damage. At least 100 of ltte went and 150 is being treated. |

It is not lightly guarded place. If it is lightly guarded place, then what about Mallavi or Vidithalathivu? No guard?
It is not the case. LTTE put one of their best efforts to stop SLA. They will carry out another few such demoralizing attacks, but eventually LTTE becomes weaker and weaker with every such attempt. Possibly, LTTE's strategy is to stop SLA at Nachchikuda-Akkarayankulam instead of Kilinochchi. So there is a possibility, once SLA finish it at Nachchikuda-Akkarayankulam defense line, there will be nobody left to resist at Kininochci. |
