Aereal Warfare is much more complicated than we think.
What the Tigers have been doing is using very low tech stuff (but clever )to get past SLDF guys inexperience in Air defence. (it seems to me)
On the Air to Air side, one tiger craft was intercepted- ie 50% of the job done. But the SLAF pilot couldnt get a radar lock- long enough for certain kill. Bad weather for SLAF-good luck for TAF.
On the ground side-why they just sat on the missiles -75% failure on our part- as they didnt use those missiles- Normal AA fire was successful in forcing TAF to miss the real target (it seems)
What the end of session SLAF bombing did, we dont know.
TAF mission only a partial success. They didnt come to kill a few sailors only.
But I'm very confident next time they wont go back.
(I'm dabbling in things I really dont know BTW.)

Bakamoona I agree with you, they did not know how to handle it.
