Yes!! in the 70's we had light in Jaffna..initially when i read the heading of this article i was Happy but then I thought wait a mint, when did the lights go off...

so all these years Jaffna did not have Electricity...Interesting!!
Berts, cant you see thr word --entire--? that mean some parts did not have electricity. Dont pull it from the wrong end man. There are areas without electricity still in the western province also. |

Good morning to you too Bert.. It is 10:30 friday night here. My wife has hijacked the TV for watching some silly tele-drama from SL she got from her sis.. I decided on LNP for entertainment.
Anyway.. with reliable electricity supply comes economic growth.
