Dharmanandan thero is to be treated a hero.He is a hero like the seaman who gave a butt clout to rajiv.SL is at war, against tamil hindus/christain people. So Dharma is
doing fine.May be Dharma will be confined to his temple if
Lord BUdhas statue in his temple is dressed like a woman with a silk saree, & colourful flowers & pottu.

Thivya, if you say planting a budhdha statue in Trinco is Etinic Colonisation in your home land, why are you planting statues in kotahena, kandy, ratmalana, moratuwa, panadura, galle and even wellawatta and bambalapitiya.

Can you please get out with your statues as these are not your traditional homeland. this is our traditional home lands!

If you have something called a brain atleast an Iota of it, understand that people are free to do whatever they like as long as it's not illegal. Defining what's legal and not is not upto you and me. So erecting a budhdha statue is not illegal especially when it's a buddhist land.

Who is the racist here.....you or me! We dont have problems with you folks practising your religion in our midst, but seems like you do!

Too bad......because 76% are buddhists! F...Off!
We bled for this country and not you while you were still runing around wearing the sudhdha's jangiya.

This another example of peace loving sinhala moda harak looking after the Tamils.

harak also had a vote with modapaksha to decide whats best for tamils.

time for LTTE to take down awukana budu pilimaya with a big mama bomb.

get off our land!

Catholic Pastor arrested while smuggling GPSs and I-com sets- Katunayake

The Bandaranaike International Air Port (BIA) custom officials Friday (Sep 5), arrested a Catholic Pastor while attempting to smuggle inland, 30 odd communication equipment and other accessories.

According to the Air Port officials, the pastor was arrested on precise intelligence information received, who had brought in 40 Gamin type GPSs with catalogues and 30 other I-com equipment with antennas and accessories inside two speakers.

The equipment were neatly stuffed inside the speakers BIA customs said, adding that LTTE may be well behind this, as the organization is well known in manipulating 'humanitarian' faces to defy the world.

Further investigations are been continued by the customs and Police, the sources said.

That person is not suitable for the temple.
I think, people around the area and police acted correctly, if the news is correct.
