Only affects the ones who had a mind of their own to begin with. For those who have their brain washed and their soul stolen by the cannibalistic bunker rat and the zHTTP, this condition does not apply.

It may be some JVP culprits who have destroyed Hindu temple but , if it really done by bouddhist Monk it is unfortunate only because it is rare that high bouddhist priest is involved or some new monks attached to JVP and JHU might have done.

Personally as a Buddhist, if someone blows the head off a Buddha statue or a Temple it does not affect me. I will be extremely sad if that had been a 2500 year old historic artifact.
Buddha has taught us that everything material in this universe has a finite lifespan and that we should not be saddened by their demise.
When the Taliban blew up those buddha statues I felt sad because they were ancient and had immense historic value. I would feel the same way if they were of Jesus Christ or of one of hindu gods.
Anyway, In this day and age, we should be able to be religious and be able to worship our religious figures in privacy. Need for ever larger and ever colorful figures means that we are somehow drifting away from the true meaning of being religious.
That is my take anyway...on this Friday... It will be time for a beer soon :)
