Well while we all are having a nice lil debate going on here.
I would like to point out that the soldiers are asking for water bottles.
Not the water.
As water is a simple commodity to acquire. (I think we all know how to sterilize water).
They simply require the water bottles for the transport.
Come now guys.Think about it before moving onto the usual.
Squabbling and such. |

Soon you going to ask for food for army , didn't mahinda leave any money for water in 3 billion?
come on man this army are all village boys they are ok in drinking well water.
afetr food poison are you scared of waterbourne decease?
i know why you asking for bottled water , you want to resell and pocket the money.
by next month there will be 40000- 50,000 army less. then rajapakasha realise he had his turn just like , JR,Premadasa,chandrika, etc.

| Yes, as Roman4life says, I should have mentioned that they need empty bottles for transporting water, not ones filled with water. That would obviously be dangerous. |
