Don't ask what your country has done to you. Ask what you have Done to your country'.

The Tamils have done more than enough to the Country and to the ungrateful Sinhala racists and to their language.

For example, Sir Ramanathan tirelessly worked to revive the Sinhala language, even the Sinhala bigot Anakaraia Dramapala has thanked Sir Ramanathan for his service to the revival of Sinhala language among the Sinhala masses. In turn, the Sinhalese enacted the Sinhala only law to push the Tamil language down.

Sir Ramanathan risked his life and went to England to present the case of Sinhala Buddhists in front of the Queen and saved the life of Sinhala leaders. They showed their gratitude by pulling his chariot instead of horses. Then they backstabbed him.

The Tamil laborers are still the back bone of Sri Lankan economy but they backstabbed them by stripping their citizenship rights. I can go on and on with example after example for the Sinhala duplicity, laziness and cunningness.

We Tamils have done more than our shares for Sri Lanka but the Sinhalese systematically alienated us, therefore the Tamils want to get away from the Sinhalese, Can you blame us?

Amity after the War ,The mischief makers will set an agenda for the Tamils which will be unreasonable and unattainable. This would be the next game plan of the NGO poodles once there is no war for them to peddle. They need causes to be kept alive permanently to attract foreign sponsors for financial support to maintain their current lifestyles.

displaying their utter idiocy!

bye for now..

Tamil Nadu minister's participation in bizarre ritual kicks up a row
N Sathiya Moorthy in Chennai

The participation of the Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Minister C Durairaj in a bizarre ritual, IN WHICH CHILDREN ARE FIRST BURIED ALIVE, THEN TAKEN OUT AND REVIVED, has kicked up a controversy.

The J Jayalalithaa-led ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam considers atheism as one of its guiding principles.

The ritual took place at Perayur village, some 45 km from Madurai, from where the minister hails.

The ritual, which takes place once in seven years at the village temple dedicated to female deities Muthukuzhi Mariamman and Kaliamman, dates back to 400 years.

The villagers claim that there have been no reports of any casualties till now. This year 105 children underwent the ritual.

Chennaiguy,

My Point is that Sri Lanka is not big enough to split and even if we split, have not you heard what LTTE did for people in those areas? Now people are more satisfied having army more than LTTE because army does not abduct children in the middle of the night and use them as a human shield.

You are saying to rename every city as a country. We are not that stupid. Sri Lanka has been independent for a long time and calling a country for each city would be nuts. If you really really want to call eelam, tell your wal praba instead of buying weapons, hire bunch of japanese people and make another land in the sea call that an eelam without bothering our people.
