as long as sinhalese are not prepared to devolve power to tamil dominated homeland tamileelam is the only solution.
I don't think the issue is that. The issue is Singhalese and rest of the world does not want any homeland ruled by a terrorist outfit. Most of us do not have an issue with a tamil dominated government setup for the tamils of Sri Lanka. And most of us do agree, Tamils were discriminated against by the singhalese dominated government of SL.
We all want to move forward on those issues. We are not prepared to let the terror goons of LTTE dictate rules for tamil governance. That's all. |

eelam is not a sloution.. it's an idea. a thought!. like one day,Orville and Wilbur wright were thinking..'what if we could fly!!..'..and they invented the airplane. same way.. one day, prabhakaran was thinking..'what if i could have a country for myself'.. so he invented Eelam. in the case of wright brothers..they actually did it.. and managed to get that thing up in air. but sad for prabha.. his idea never took off!.. will never do! As they say..an idea can change your life!.. same way.. i guess it could end one too. :) |

was hamas now able to govern in lebanon ?
If you want to check, give full democracy to North & east , devolve Political powers & have UN mediated elections..

that has to be sorted out through negotiation and not through war. ltte is the legitimate representative of tamil people. sinhalese cant tell who is representative of tamil people. if sinhalese cant understand the reality they should atleast test that in a UN sponsored referendum.
