Buddhism as is known very well has a long history in Tamil Nadu. It has had indelible impact on the intellectual development and traditions of Tamil Nadu. Buddhism has contributed greatly to secular Tamil culture. Equally important is the Tamil contribution to Buddhist thought and literature.

Supplying foods and utilities to military is a lucrative business between hand-picked businessmen and some corrupt military offices for long time. Defence secretary must look into these irregularities and punish who are responsible.

Colombo High Court Judge A.T.Ratnaike Wednesday discharged the Sinhalese speaking Jury in the muder case of popular military analyst and TamilNet editorial board member Dharmeratnam Sivaram (Taraki) following the submission by the prosecution that whereabouts of one of the key prosecution witnesses was not known, legal sources said.

if buddhism has contributed so much to the secular tamil culture, why you are always referring to the south as Sinhalese buddhist in a detrimental, blasphemous way?

200 training soldiers got food poisoning and our peelamist friends are going over board. sad times, no news to boost morale and even bala malu becomes a significant contributor to the cause of peelam?
