200 SLA soldiers in hospital with food poisoning in Ampaa`rai

About two hundred recruits of the Sri Lanka Army were rushed to hospital Thursday morning in the Dehiyatakandiya training camp of the SLA in Ampaa`rai district after taking their breakfast with fish. Some of the SLA recruits are in critical condition, according to medical sources.
The soldiers were admitted to the Dehiyatakandiya government hospital.

Paracetamol poisoning due to over dosing is on the increase in Sri Lanka and it appears whether in some cases people take this easily available pain killer in over doses to commit suicide.
