COLOMBO, Sep 21 (IPS) - Compared to the rest of South Asia, Sri Lanka has impressive sanitation statistics with 90 percent of the population having access to latrines. But what happens to human waste thereafter is another story.
The stench emanating from the Beira Lake, a major Colombo landmark, betrays the fact faecal matter finding its way into this much loved water body, through storm water drains.
And before you guys start denying read the heading that says :

But Proud Sri lankan toilet warriors who wear the percentage of toilets on their sleeves shouldnot stop, continue with song...
Sri lanka has lots of toilets,
India,pak,afgan has less toilets,
toilets toilets toilets...
But do think before drinking your water, god knows from which lake it comes from... ensure it is from the Beira Lake, a major Colombo landmark .... :-)) |

A well-fortified LTTE bunker line was reduced to the ground during those clashes in TUNUKKAI area as the heat of the fight escalated.
Four valiant soldiers made supreme sacrifice during the day s fighting. Thirty-two injured in the clashes were admitted to hospital for treatment immediately after their injuries. In the meantime, troops dominating newly captured areas with the help of engineers were able to unearth sixty-two LTTE anti personnel mines from TUNUKKAI areas.

lol see how nicely this guy know about beralake and all :) he speaks Sinhalese,he knows SL politics :) first Indian who does this all:) i wonder Indian raw also have such capacity.
