it would have helped MR to portray the need to protect the country and wipe out the terrorism
MR made speeches that he had thrown tigers out of East.
But this LNP article does not indicate so !
The modayans in the east voted since they thought MR is winning & on the verge of victory !
But if TAF had bombed before elections, this argument would have become a gasless ballon & Propaganda disaster for MR..
It would give one more instrument for Janaka to beat MR with..
Tigers are waiting for the long haul...if you think you can finish it faster, you are sadly mistaken ! |

It is to show that their silence should be construed as weakness..
They have various options in their hands regarding the offensives !
I dont remember seeing the same photos when TAF was launched 2 yrs ago.. IT shows that TAF Pilots are in tact & command structure of Tigers has not yet crumbled as you may wish .. |

As a observer of the conflict between tigers & SLA, i feel that TIgers are more wary of SLNavy than the SLA ..
All the offensive actions that tigers took over the last 6 months are all against SL navy..Be it Neduntheevu, Chirutheevu, or Mannar attack or the recent Naval base attack, all r against SL Navy..
So there must be some kind of Logic behind their offensives against SL Navy & not so much against SLA.

Sri Lanka s biggest garbage mountain, growing in height day by day, at Bloemendhal Road, Colombo 13 has become a menace. It could explode if fire spreads to the methane gas emanating from the lower levels of the dump, the Colombo Municipal Council Public Health Department warned Tuesday. A recent fire in a section of the dump had aggravated an already bad health hazard, residents of the area complained.
The Colombo Municipal Council Public Health Department warned that the mountain of garbage was burning from inside even after the Sri Lanka Air Force had doused the flames engulfing its surface.
The garbage mountain stands on a wetland of 22 acres and about 70 80 tons of the city s garbage is dumped here regularly.
The stench emanating from the dump after the fire is unbearable, residents complain
