Highlight of the air raid is to bury regular headlines of SLDF raids on Eelam Tamil Terrorists in Kilinochchi and Mullaitive.Let the Eelam Tamils buy the news and entertain themselves like we do when SLDF capture towns and villages from Eelam Tamil Terrorists...lol...

But the bomb that exploded took a sentry point and the other remained unexploded.Good try I must say in the dark to escape
But, Daily mirror reports....
Sounds of heavy explosions in Trincomalee for the last half an hour, a witness reported
So, heavy explosions inside sentry point? He he....Most suitable candidate to replace PM Ratnasiri! |

The LTTE will let you capture the surrounding villages and on one fine summer night they will come and bomb the Sinhala thugs intruders of Tamil home land. To be safe, just order more body bags. That's all. :)) LOL

At once, there was an explosion which shook the area. After a while, there was a similar explosion, he told BBCSinhala.com.

Eyewitness Saman Mallawaarachchi
At the same time a plane flew over where we were with a sound similar to a motor bicycle. Immediately after that, there were firing. It was like a huge fire works all over Trincomalee, he added.
There were no reports on casualty figures and there was no comment from the LTTE.
Saman Mallawarachchi said the Sri Lanka military started firing at air soon after the LTTE dropped two bombs.
The sky was red and there were sounds of fire. Electricity went off and the firing continued. And there was firing even in the ground level. Telephones were disconnected and we are sure the plane escaped unhurt despite the firing, he said.

Two TAFs had come. Four bombs dropped.
One to the Sea. Out of 03 dropped on land one not exploded.
12 sailors had minor injuries because of the scattered debris.
Nothing major.

When the Tamils took up the arms to defend their Homeland, they knew very well that the Sinhalese have a bigger army than the Tamils. It didn t stop them from waging war against the Sinhala Buddhist chauvinism.
That is true. Long time ago, SL forces were just ceremonial outfits. Sure your Brothers kicked SLDF's butts whenever they felt like it. SLDF's have transformed now. They are stronger than your monolithic LTTE in numbers and in capacity. They are lead by veteran soldiers that have seen hand to hand combat of all kinds for the past few decades. What SLDF's lacked is the GOSL support before. Now there is nothing much holding them back. They are systematic and well coordinated and are deploying excellent tactics to out maneuver and outsmart the LTTE in battle.
TAF needs to be attacking the SLDF's on the ground to be really effective.
