I think you don't want to accept the mistakes made by the SL Navy,
pls tell me You have a radar that picked up plane/s approching and what is next? shoot it down..they failed..These planes (correct me if i am wrong) have to fly pretty low..if they can't take them out..
It will sound better if someone says radar was defective or switched off rather than saying it was working and we couldn't shoot the 'Thakaran' down..
what LTTE is achieving? well i don't know..But I know one thing..this is a SET BACK..
if those planes have taken off from where You and I think surely surrounded by the SL army (13 miles story and the Map we all saw) someone would have seen it taking off..
is it coming from TN? |

the LTTE are claiming a successful mission, but i doubt it very much! I don't even understand what they are trying to achieve
how do you know that their mission is failed? you are just relying on what sldf has reported. we all know how reliable they are. SLDF have reported over 6000 ltte casualty after this eelam war 4 started. This is one example to assess the credibility of their reporting. |

Berty, old boy, glad to see that you have become exited over couple of crop dusters taking off from a dirt tack in the bush and flying a few miles to drop some coconuts on the seashore. It must be nice to be able to be amused so easily. It is such a pity that we patriots are a harder lot to please.

I like this answer..so vanni is NOT surrounded..I think most of the SL think it is surrounded and 13 miles to go..did i read it wrong? was it a printing error when PM said it will be over on election day..oh sorry..may be we don't read the same stories

| LTTE air craft came thorugh the Mulativu beah...Vaveniya redar system detected and alarmed Trinco harbour. when the flight eneterd to harbour area..anti air craft guns fired. They dropped 2 bombs. The jetty slightly damage. This flight had take off from Mulativu unsecured area.:-) |

4 solders minor injuries. This attack they have carried to improve the moral of carders...and diasapora who r unhappy with Pirubha...other than that nothing much. If they really have a attack mission...they will come with a explosives fully packed in flight and do a suicide attack.:-) |
