what is great is when those who talked so much about the SL forces Victory to take a step back and look at this bombing carefully and accept after all all what is reported is not correct
On one hand when The army was moving in with 13 miles and PM's talk of finishing off before the election etc all were asking what happened to the LTTE..what happened to the 'Thakaran' planes..where is the so called LTTE big mouth etc..now when the attack has occurred, it is the talk on the opposite direction..This is the dumbest thing LTTE did..this will give SLA to go for it..
comeon..The forces were at it..they were going for it..They got so many Bunkers..(I can't even remember those names) they showed Maps..
Give me a break..
What happened to the radar? well if the radar was working (let us assume) how did they attack? well only 1 reason..someone inside the navy was bribed (may be at the top) and the Radar was switched off...
I really don't want to think that the radar was defective... |

Last resort IDPLs...already so called community leaders pressing IC to intervene....stop Military Advances....without highlighting to release civilians to Government areas.
people will jump off any time next month.
One option why SLDF keeping Omanthai entry/exit untouched.
very thin IC or any outsiders chipping in at this stage...but SLAF has to be very causes at their targets from now on wards. |

The real threat to liberating Killi is not from the military strength of the LTTE. That is not a big factor now cos sooner or later SLDF will steamroll the LTTE defences.
That was dumbest thing I ever heard...
first line the biggest threat is not the Military
last line the same MILITARY will steamroll..
They were doing the same thing for so many years..People celebrate every save the goal keeper makes but all will rem only when the goal is scored..
U can give 100 excuses..u can come out with wonderful theories but tell me how on earth this attack took place..
tell me what happened to the radar?
tell me where these Thakaran planes came from?
Tell me it was the final stages..12 miles to go..Kfir/Migs are flying all day/night..How on earth did this happen?

AussieBoy, dear chap, you are absolutely right. I think the main problem these terrorists have is that they cannot afford to even fuel up these couple of tin cans. They have to to rob and extort money from poor fellows living in Vanni for several months to scrounge enough money to launch them even once.

I think the air defence systems are only placed around specific areas, hence why the LTTE attacked Trinco of all places... and i read taht the radar picked up the plane(s) approaching, and that notified the navy who fired anti-aircraft fire at them... the LTTE are claiming a successful mission, but i doubt it very much! I don't even understand what they are trying to achieve (other than giving something for the diaspora to celebrate in england) |
