Why should Sinhalese heros sacrifice their lives and dfamilies to save tamils from Themselves ?
That is how democratic governments operate. Firstly to preserve the democracy, and secondly to enable all citizens to participate in the democratic process unabated.
BTW, Tamils are not banned from entering the services with the SLDF's :) |

Sorry Lanka seems to be picking up a lot of StinkIn-dia habits these days-like throwing bottles at visiting cricket teams etc.
Dont know how far they've gone on road pooing direction.
So why not StinkIn-dian type devo too?

I think no group of people in the world should be asked to give up their language, culture and heritage to be assimilated with the majority.
No one was asked. but thanks to LTTP, tamils voluntarily accepted to accept different cultures and different languages. They first generation may talk tamil. but they can not prevent the second generation doing any thing they want and that is happening.
You can see how many tamils spoke different languages in LNP.
Can you expect a MIA if tamils lived in their so called homeland.
Any way, Tamils refuse to mingle with Sinhala people only in Sri Lanka. |
