when I said Tamil..I was also including Karuna and Pillayan..don't you think the Forces are where they are today cos VP made a bunder of splitting with Karuna and Karuna helping MR and its forces..
I have to respectfully disagree with you here... Both of these guys have killed thousands of innocent civilians (apart from army guys) in their times. Even now, god knows what there real motos are
If you said 'Kadiragamar' I would said yes 1000 times. He was one tamil who had the guts to go against tamil extremism and fight for one united Sri Lanka
Just rewind and go back if East was not librearted today the War will be at a different stage..so You have to include Tamils not just as 1%.
For this I think we luckily had the right people at the right time.. MR politically and military leadership on the otherhand. |

On the other hand, what I am saying is also truth.
I never regretted about Sinhala people not being a majority in Asia. I accept we are a minority.
Similarly, Tamils need to accept that though they are a majority they don't have their own country.
It is nothing about right speech just understanding the reality as it is. |

totally agree with you.. this is an outcome of democracy.. more parties and more divisions.. typical of almost all asian countries to fight each other to get into power
thats why I prefer kings. One king takes it all.. no more divisions

I agree with all of that. But the thing about right speech is about reconciliation. I would like to see one day that we can all look in each others eyes and understand we mean no harm to each other. One way for this to happen is through right speech. I know you're all pissed off and make fun of the eelamists here, but when making general comments please choose your words carefully. Say for example a teenager from the Tamil community reads that comment by CD who has had no suffering of discrimination, what would he think? Go ahead, fight head on with the eelamists, obviously they way they talk themselves how else are we to reply? But to those who talk to you right, the deserve to be talked back in the right manner and when making general comments try to use right speech. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. |
