Sorry don't know any place in SL. That shop is in the UK. Tell your friend to ask a hospital and see if they provide wheelchairs or whether they know where you could buy one.

Over 14,000 soldiers have deserted the forces in 2008, Military Spokesman, Brigadier General Udaya Nanayakkara told The Sunday Leader. This figure is around 5.4% of the army's total strength over a period of just over half a year.


Why they are deserting when we are winning the war? Answer is from just one month (July) casualities figure...

The most worrying part of the Prime Minister's statement was that he said 622 - six times the number killed - soldiers were 'injured' in battle. This is not a military that counts a scratch on the arm or a broken toe as an injury. A lot of these soldiers, aged 18 and up, have been hurt so badly that their lives have been effectively shattered.

its very common in any kind of war :) LTTE does not have deserters? USA army does not?

Friday was crazy. Wind was really strong here.
SZ Sri Lankans gathered yesterday for dinner and some wine. Fellow royalist was there with family.
Had nice chat with some wine. Had a good time.

I applied for visa. Now I have to wait.
