Should the Buddhist monks worry about Buddhism or the Sinhala race? Is the Buddha's message for the entire mankind or for the Sinhalese only? Of course the Buddha knew neither the Sinhala language nor any Sinhala man or woman.
And here is a monk who should be speaking for the Buddha but only knows to speak for the Sinhalese. Aren't all of them, monks in SL, like that?
