Hoole is another traitor, he thought he can change the Jaffna University as another Sinhala traitor's camp but the Tamils told him that no traitor can enter the Tamil Home land. He got scared and ran away to the USA.
What he meant is that any reasonable peace loving Tamil who gives voice to his views is slandered, vilified and demonized by the Tamil right. Mr. V. Anandasangaree, Ketheesh Loganathan, and Neelan Tiruchelvam have suffered this fate.
My room-mate might well be accurate that most Tamils know what is wrong but keep quiet because of safety issues. But then, as we remain quiet, there is a presumption that we all agree with what is happening. Our silence leads to the presumption of our assent of our consent. Hoole |

then karauna ask our protection along with pillyan because they are working for LTTE?
Dimwit,
No, without the Sinhala protection ordinary eastern Tamils will kill them both for backstabbing the Tamil nation.

The LTTE is showing signs of defending Kilinochchi. Several units deployed in Jaffna and Weli Oya have been recalled to an unknown location in Kilinochchi. Sources speaking to this site confirmed that the objective maybe to launch a cease-less-wave-type attack on the 57 Division.
The Tigers, in their last attempt, realized that forcing the Army into a temporary withdrawal is insufficient. Out of the many Divisions attacking it from all directions, the 57 is the most lethal as it is aiming at the Tiger's heart.
According to the latest information pieced together, small units have been recalled to Kilinochchi, including mortar units from Weli Oya, which is significant. Contrary to expectations, LTTE has not abandoned its fight in Tunukkai and Mallavi, although the former is virtually surrounded.
It is estimated that the Tigers are cable of organizing around 500 hardcore cadres for a fight at this point in time. Strategically however, they must perform a herculean task of launching one or a series of attacks capable of completely upsetting the Army's strategy, tactics, morale and leadership. There will be no half measures.
In doing so, LTTE too must face the risk of losing a good many of its hardcore fighters in the attack. The Army sees this as an opportunity to get at hardcore LTTE fighters while losing only regular troops and not the Special Forces like in some previous Ceaseless Waves once being called in at the eleventh hour.
If an attack of this magnitude is executed, the LTTE must ensure that it reaches the rear of the 57 Division and then box-in the troops. This was formally an LTTE tactic now being used predominantly by the Army. The last such attack was beaten back by heavy artillery and MBRL fire.

The area of control enjoyed by the LTTE is steadily shrinking in size. Militarily this is a welcome development to Colombo. But there is another side to this. The captive civilian population is also getting boxed in with the LTTE.
In a situation where the LTTE is inextricably intertwined with the civilian population like fish in an ocean, the chances of civilians suffering collateral damage are very high.
The Tigers, on the other hand, are not known to be overly protective of civilians. While claiming to fight on their behalf, the LTTE has often callously exposed civilians to danger.
These incidents are then highlighted to seek sympathy from the Tamil diaspora and also for propaganda purposes against the government.

Hey eelamaya.
Now you re my enemy ok.
I would not go that far to classify all Sinhalayas as enemies of all the Tamils. But, the Buddhist monks, I was told, are in the opinion that Tamils are Sinhalayas 'traditional enemy'! |
