I think the UNP should simply bring this No Confidence Motion without Talking about it.
It will take only an hour or so to write the motion. And only 3 MP's have to sign it...That's no big deal. Actually UNP can easily find 3 Govt. MP's who will gladly sign it.
Question is why is it taking so long for the UNP to such a simple thing??? When will if happen??? Will it ever happen???

You all may have seen Ranil W's sabaragamuwa CM candidate Ranjan Ramamayake (One shot Actor) sitting around with Ranil W in the Ratnapura Area with Bandages and plaster's on his body to get the sympathy of the people by implying that he got assaulted by the Mahinda Rajapaksa Govt...
Well, the cat is out of the bag.
Just see yesterday's and the day before's Lanakadeepa and Divamina newspaper's or watch:

today's news bulletin where Nimal Siripala exposes the One shot acting.
In the Lankadeepa photo One shot actor's left hand is Bandaged and he is whering a watch on the Right Hand.
In the Divamina Newspaper the One Shot Actor's Right hand is Bandaged and the left hand is fine.
Ranil W's choice for Sabaragamuwa CM can't even 'Act' properly. Ranil W has to take Full Responsibility for all the Embarasment his idiotic choice for CM has caused the UNP in the Countdown to the polls.
You can't really blme Ranjan Ramanayake. All great actor's make mistakes and besides, his idea of wearing bandages and getting some sympathy votes may not be entirely bad. But Ranil W has to take the full blame for this embarrasment.....caused by fielding a total idiot for the CM position of Sabaragamuwa.
Surely can't a sophisticated, Western Thinking, Big Management Baila Guru like Ranil W comprehend that Ranjan Ramanayake is a first class idiot???
What a disaster for the UNP

Take a look at today's Dinamina newspaper (www.dinamina.lk)
Frontpage of today's Dinamina Newspaper (www.dinamina.lk) carried 2 pictures of Ranjan Ramanayake with different hands being bandaged at 2 different occasions (with a caption that his Injuries are fake). However, the 2nd picture is a 'mirrored' image, which is evident from the mirrored text behind.
Lake house/ITN & Government is gonna have crap on its face when the full page newspaper ad comes up exposing this Hori Balu deed!!

SLfP idiots never understand that fact they are pathetic liars. During 2002 -2004, they went to town with differnt stories of country being sold, LTTe stockpiling arms, etc, etc. But nothing of that sort of thing happend. Instead there was peaceful situation which saved over 200,000 lives, economy grew by over 5% from negative -1%, inflation down from 8% to 3%. These are only a few acheivements for the short period of 2 years. When the election came, LTTe which was helped so much by Ranil (according to pitiful SLFPers) in fact helped MR to become the president.
People with right mind, analyse these thigs and understand how stupid SLFP can be and how low games it came play.
The junta government is deeply unpopular among the people due to economic crisis which is not because of fuel prices but because of jumbo cabinet, tourism down turn, warlike situation, blocks and road barriers, unemployment, nepotism, corruption, farce like Mihin air, Srilankan deal, lawlessness, etc, etc.
Under this junta government, there will be never free and fair election. I challange, the junta government to hold free and fair elections like DBW and Ranil did it in 1993/4 and see the results. If it were not for proportionate system, SLFP will be reduced to 8 or 9 seats and a tamil party or JVp will be the main opposition. Thanks to JR.
Why is MR not taking any action against Mervin? Because MS knows something about MR, others don't know. If a minister or a UNP member behaved half badly as Mervin during JR's time or Ranil's he would have been sacked forthwith. No place for jokers like MS in the old and new UNP.
Gamiyas who have turned voters, have ruined this country during the past 15 years. They voted for CBK who came from LOndon and she finished without doing anything for the country. She came from LOndon and went back to London. All slankan voters got was a bad taste in their mouth. She slept with even JVP that killed Vijaya.
SLFPers cheered for her and now cheering for foolish MR. CBK promised bread for R3 and the bread under SLFP government is now nearly R100!
The terriable and horrible misktakes of SLFP are putting the country down the drain for 50 years. But the foolish gamiyas who have turned voters don't have brains to understand. If it was JR who got power back in 1956 instead of SWRD, Slanka today is another Singapore and there would not have been a national problem. UNP can and wants to develop Slanka. ONLY UNP has a vision. |
