Similarly, a capable intelligent Sinhalese leader is more beneficial to Tamils than a useless Tamil leader.
the problem is sinhala people often elect uncapable and unintelligent (like swrd bandaranayaka, JRJ , CBK and MR). Therefore tamil people would not get their share of benefits and enjoy rights. so only viable solution is let tamil decide their own affairs under a federal state.

This will not solve any problem. Look at pakistan.
Think Sri Lankan. It is the solution.
I may add that it is Tamils and Sinhalese birth right.

Tamil eelam = north and east of SL
Homeland can be in the form of federal.It is not a must it should be a separate country for it to be called a homeland. |

Do you have problem differentiating home and home land? I actually meant our homes, schools and temples. Our homes and temples are already occupied by the Sinhala thugs in Jaffna. The Sinhala Nazis have already started the Sinhalization of the east.
The Tamils are living under trees. The Sinhala Army chased away the Tamils from Tamil villages and settling the Sinhala squatters.
So, what is the option we Tamils have other than helping the LTTE to kill the Sinhala trespassers of our homes and villages.

first we will reduce the LTTE to a mere organization that has no power to wage conventional military offensives against the state or hold land with demarcated territorial boundaries as LTTE did in the golden days of Ranil CFA...
once that is done (and dont forget now VP control only about 2.1 districts as against the golden old days), then we will rebuilt SL..
you can have your peacful eelam and home, and homeland concepts at the LNP, if the owner of the site decides to keep it that long.. |

that is possible as far as tamil is concerned. if a solution is found under federalism then tamil too will be happy to call themselves as Sri Lankan (personally I dont like this name. I like it to be called as lanka. and also I dont like current national flag of SL. It should not have any pictures of dangerous animals.) |

There is nothing called Sri Lankan identity. Sri Lankan means Sinhala Buddhists and the people who are willing to accept the Sinhala Buddhist hegemony. The Tamils never accepted the 1972 Sinhala Buddhist constitution. Even the word Sri Lanka is anathema to us. We don't even use the word Sri Lanka in Tamil.
